BioHatsuharu is a member of the Sohma family, cursed to become an animal of the Chinese Zodiac when embraced by a member of the opposite sex. In history, the cow/ox was taunted as being somewhat slow and dumb thanks to a trick played by the mouse. He has always resented being taunted and teased. He developed the violent 'black' personality in younger years as an opposite to the sweeter 'white' disposition, but had long since forgiven Yuki for the trick. He still has a hard time committing to anything like love after a heartbreak when he was a bit younger involving a woman named Rin, though he is still highly capable of emfatuations.
